Our Unity plugin has support for popular VR SDK's including the SteamVR plugin, Oculus SDK, VRTK, and NewtonVR. If you are using one or more of these SDK's in your project, we leverage them by automatically pulling certain data points from them including device name, positional data, tracking events, etc.
When you integrate Observer into your project for the first time, we automatically search for use of these libraries in your project and add support for them (through the use of Scripting Define Symbols). At any time, you can toggle support for any of these libraries through the Project Settings tab in the Observer Settings window.
By removing support for a library, the scripting define will be removed and any Observer code that relies on that library will be disabled.
