In Unity, we support 360 video tracking if using Unity's native VideoPlayer component.
To track a 360 video, use the Observer_360Video script.
If using the Skybox/Render Texture method, simply attach the Observer_360Video script anywhere in the scene and attach the Video Player component to the corresponding field on the Observer_360Video script.
If using the inverted sphere method, the Observer_360Video script should be attached to the sphere GameObject. Then attach the Video Player component to the corresponding field on the Observer_360Video script.
You'll notice there's a "Video Name" field attached to the Observer_360Video script. This optional field is for a string to easily identify your video on the dashboard. If this field is left empty, the name of the video clip is used instead.
Once data is sent to our servers, you can access the FOV heatmap on the dashboard.
Note: You must have sent data to the dashboard before you can upload the video.
